Many would say tomorrow is the most boring day of the year for sports fans. It is the day after the all-star game. The day the touts like the guy in Two For The Money give out "locks" for wrestling or gymnastics, or maybe the arena football playoffs. The day when literally NOTHING is going on in the world of major sports, but is it the most boring? No. That would be today, because in addition to there being nothing that matters going on, we have the All-Star game itself to add to the boredom.
I know they are "playing for something" (home field in the world series), but the game is still boring. The balloting is fan-driven and hardly a merit system, and the league grinds to a halt. Not that I'm a baseball fan anymore, ever since the sport threw Pete Rose under a bus, but even when I was I never paid much attention to this game, and the times I did were not memorable.
One nice thing about the All-Star game is that it's a sign that the NFL isn't too far on the horizon, and Saratoga is even closer!
