Over the past decade or so, the biggest fines levied by the NBA have been against those who criticize the officiating. "Maverick" Dallas franchise owner Mark Cuban was once fined $250,000.00 for this infraction, which the NBA has always considered a step below child molestation and maybe a step above testing positive for cocaine.
Cuban has been surprisingly quiet during all of this, and one has to wonder how long that will last. Throughout the years, players like Charles Barkley have also receieved similar fines, and unlike Cuban, the referees directly affected the results of his performance instead of a team he simply owned.
At the very least, I hope the NBA backs off its zero-tolerance policy for criticism of the officials, and instead pay attention when the players, who have a better sense of court justice than anyone as they are on the front lines, complain that they are not getting a fair shake. As we are seeing now, something far more sinister might be at work than mere incompetence, something that evades even the deeply prying eyes of the NBA.

Do it you fag, do it, do it, do it noooow.
